Too Many Books!
Well, we have another brand new comic for the relaunch today! Yay! I hope you like it.
BTW: My friend Rosscott launched his comic The System a short while ago. Check it?
So, I have way too many books in my apartment. I don’t want them anymore and none of them are worth anything. I am fundamentally opposed to throwing books away, so I decided to just list them on Amazon marketplace as used books to get them out of my apartment.
I list one of the books, the site crashes, then I see that its marked as “closed”. I wait a while and it’s still not listed for sale. I notice that the quantity in the listing is listed as “0″, so I change it to “1″ and save the listing.
My listing finally lists. I get one email confirmation of a successful listing. I double check it to make sure all is well. Then 30 minutes later my book sells.
Twice. Twice!?!?
Apparently Amazon’s marketplace listing website is so shitty that it double listed me, didn’t send a notification of a second listing (as it does each time a new listing is added.) and basically argh.
So of course, I quickly contact and refund the second order with an apology and an explanation.
However, Amazon does it’s best to bury real information underneath crap, so when the person replied to the Amazon address thinking that they would get an amazon employee, they got forwarded to me and naturally thought that I work for Amazon so that I could fix the rest of their order.
I replied trying to help them as best as I could and sent them to the proper place to get their issue resolved via Amazon.
Wow. Amazon Marketplace is a hot pile of shit. I am never EVER listing anything for sale with them again. It is not worth this hassle.

Haha, The System’s a riot!
Also, I’m loving the storyline of SAIDAC. It’s awesome-tastic!
HAHAHA!
Well, you know there is only one way out of this, right?!
The good old American garage sale! :)
Huh… why is ma avatar a handicapped squareman with wings?!:-D
The Avatar is actually a “Gravatar” which is a cross website thing that you can set up. If you don’t have one the site generates one for you based on a combo of your name and email address. We’re using the “monster generator” function to determine what gets displayed.
