First off: New concept art has been added here!

Wow I normally look forward to Summer but this June so far has been the worst evar.

First, I got into a car accident on Memorial Day weekend. Then the insurance claims it won’t cover part of the damage . Then on June 1st in a totally unrelated incident, the power steering on my 2007 Chevy Cobalt just stopped working. It is apparently a known issue with GM cars and a reason why every one of you reading this should never buy from GM. GM cars last for 2 years before they need thousands in repairs. It might seem like these are really cheaper than everything else but they are not worth your time. I should have got the used KIA.

Boy was that a kick in the balls. I thought I had made a smart decision. I put all of my faith into that because I needed it for my job. This week, my entire life was up-rooted because not only did I not have a car, but I couldn’t get to my job from where I have no sick time.

I’m not gonna lie to you guys. Sometimes I feel absolutely alone. The fact that so many of you have gone and helped me out in the fundraiser I am holding reaffirms to me that working hard and making comics is my path. I just need to work a bit harder to prevent things like this from financially destroying me. I’m definitely not alone. No matter how much fun it looks like we are having, we are all one illness or accident from poverty, and that blows.

It is my hope that I can at least provide you guys with some happiness.

Some will be glad to know that we ARE relaunching the old bizarre comic, but holy crap – imbedding it in this site is VERY difficult! As soon as we figure out the technical issues – the comics are mostly done and ready to be posted. Any suggestions – send them our way. We want to embed the comic below the storyline comic and keep it still searchable and linkable.

Oh and looky I’m back to updating this 2x a week instead of 1 because I feel like forcing myself to be fierce, no matter how hard it is.
