Woo hoo! Halloween is this week! Do kids trick or treat anymore? The shitty thing about where I live is that no one trick or treats. It’s stupid.

I remember back when I was a kid in the 80s! It was awesome. We even made homemade warm popcorn balls to give out. My Mom would make them right on the porch, wrap them, and hand them out to the kids. Back then, it was Best Evar. A lot of people made homemade things to give out. Today, people would think that we were out to poison them or something.

It’s stupid. I’m all for being paranoid, but I think it’s gone too far. The reality is that back in the “good old days” people did just as much fucked up shit as now! Back in the early 1900s people did WORSE shit like forced child labor. That stuff is illegal now, but back then you could get away with it without worry. The hell with that. Yeah the “good old days” where fucked up shit like blatant abuse, sexism, and bigotry was legal. That doesn’t sound so good to me. It sounds like the opposite of good.

Fuck the past. I’m glad I live here now where I have great opportunities.

The past is only good because our minds are mercifully great at forgetting bad things and remembering flashes of good.

The only difference today is that everyone is MIND CONSTIPATED and suspects everyone because people on TV know that if they scare the crap out of you they will get more ratings.

What a pile of shit! The world hasn’t changed! People haven’t degenerated! It’s just that our access to fear has gotten easier. Fuck that. Halloween isn’t the same as it used to be here in NJ. It’s just not as fun because of mind constipation. People are not as evil as it would seem on TV. Sure, there are some assholes, but it always was the case.
