Why does it seem that every corporate memo or statement has to try to reflect some deep spiritual or overarching philosophical connection to the welfare of it’s workers? Come on already, we know companies only care about how much money they can make from raping our decaying corpses. It always seemed like more of an insult when a company tries to act like any of it’s policies are designed to go beyond their basic mission of cash grabbing (and by that I mean the top people in the company stuffing cash into their own pockets). It’s foolish, I’d rather it just be said outright. Honesty is more important that falseness to me. But maybe, like it’s said, most people “can’t handle the truth” and would be decimated to realize they are living in a world of selfish fucks who could easily flip things to help people, but simply don’t.

Yes, this is an issue that bothers me…a lot.
