The concept of the “salaried” worker is the most bullshit a company can push on someone. Let’s see, we pay you X and you can work for us in an unlimited fashion until you die. Sounds great if X is infinite in this equation, but it ain’t. So we all know which side of the equation gets the infinite element–the work side. While some top level people may do a decent amount of extra hours–those are mostly on a golf course or banging some hookers on a trip to Vegas. Yours involve 3am and slaving to finish a report you know no one will ever read unless they want an excuse to fire you.
