My friends in Maryland will be getting about 22 inches of snow. We will be getting some of hat in New Jersey. ... AW HELL NAW. :/ There, I am so annoyed at the snow that I invoked an amusing dialect there. I've been dreaming about Orlando today over at my blog for obvious reason. Care to spare a few palm trees, Floridians? I fucking love you guys, but plz relinquish trees and some warmz plus bitchin' fun. Thx, Oh man. We are calling this weekend Snowpocalypse. Green Initiatives at companies are overall a positive thing. Who wouldn't want that to happen? However, all of us must have that lingering feeling that something like today's comic must have taken place. Given all of the other dumb things that most companies do, to do a good thing they almost have to start off with something so bad that the good thing will take forever just to get them back to "zero". ]]>

The NJ Turnpike is full of traffic. Also a plane landed on it today. It's a good thing that there was not that much traffic when this happened. Actually this happened farther south than where I commute, but I think it's strange enough to post about. :D I'm glad it was NOWHERE NEAR ME. Gah. All I'd need would be an excuse to be afraid of another flying thing. I already think moths are going to try to fly up my butt, I don't need to think anything about planes! Speaking of traveling, I'm considering going to Montreal this Spring or Summer. OMG ANOTHER COUNTRY! I have never been to Canada. Well, maybe when I was a baby but I can't remember it. I think there were croissants there and some boat that we got on. Canadians really know how to make good TV. Harknell and I are obsessed with Being Erica. It is about a single girl and her life, but it's also really a Sci Fi show. You should watch it now. It's the perfect show for smart people who like Sci Fi / time travel and can identify with a non-male protagonist. She ends up going back in time to do things over and has to deal with the consequences in real life. At first I thought this would be a boring girly show. After a few episodes I was like HEY NOW WUT. It became of of my favorite shows. Season 2 went off the charts really fast. I hope they get a Season 3. ]]>

We got a Netflix account. Oh my god. I have seen more films in the past 3 weeks than I have in my entire life.  That's actually not that hard. I haven't seen many movies, ever. I'm catching up. I wasn't allowed to watch most things as a child and couldn't justify theater prices as an adult. So far I've seen and highly reccommend: Ichi the Killer - A violent film about NOT a hero. This has become my favorite film ever (full blog post to come), but please do not watch if you can't handle violence. There are also some disturbing rape scenes in this film, too. Jesus Camp - A documentary about an evangelical Christian camp. This film disturbed me a lot. On one hand the people seem really nice, but the things they are telling the children are just terrifying. It broke my heart to see 8 year old children crying because they are being told they are full of sin. This is the scariest movie I have ever seen in my life.  I'm about to watch: Tokyo Gore Police - An over the top Japanese movie about genetically enhanced people called "engineers" and the police who must kill them.
