Onezumi’s Tools of the Trade
I studied classical art in a University setting, so I’ve used a lot of random art implements. After all of that experimentation, I’ve decided that simple is best.
- For pencil sketching I use an Alvin Draftmatic pencil.
- For inking, I cannot stand the popular Micron pens. I use Staedtler Pigment Liners instead.
- For finished drawings I prefer to work on Bristol or very smooth printer paper like Hammermill Color Copy paper.
- For drawing Stupid and Insane Defenders Against Chaos comic, I use a Wacom Intuous Tablet and Photoshop CS3. I draw the comic directly into the computer. I then ink and color it digitally.
